Get to know the team!

Hi! I’m Carolina.

It is an honor and a pleasure to introduce myself to you as an educator and business owner with a passion to inspire children to live mindful lives.

Growing up playing sports, competition was my life. Soccer was my passion which led me to playing from the age of 8 through college. Soon after, my love for coaching developed. After receiving my BA from Rollins College, I decided that I wanted to use the skills I had learned to build, run and grow the type of business I envisioned would bring me the most happiness, all while helping children learn to love themselves. I opened my first business, Just for Kicks Soccer, and I obtained my NSCAA Level 6 soccer coaching license in 2015.

I coached children and young adults from ages 3-18 from all backgrounds and skill levels- in competitive club teams, preschools, elementary, middle and high schools. I have taught Physical Education and been a classroom teacher in Orlando, Florida. In 2018, I earned my yoga teacher training certification (200RYT) and that is how Just for Kicks Soccer became Namaste Sports!

Our curriculum is centered around mindfulness and teaching kids to bring it into their every day lives. In the current climate of the world, I believe there is nothing better than teaching kids to express and regulate their emotions. Kids that are confident, self-loving and compassionate become strong, independent and influential leaders as adults.

Namaste Sports grew and so did my world. With the birth of our daughters over the last couple of years, it’s been a true blessing to have the most amazing team so I can take a step back from teaching and coaching. I do however to love to jump back in as a substitute instructor from time to time.

My phenomenal yoga teachers and soccer coaches have become a detrimental piece of our team and Namaste Sports family.

We put all our love, heart and soul into our soccer and yoga programs at Namaste Sports and I am so excited to continue sharing more of our journey with you.

I am so happy you’re here :)

Daya is a vibrant and fun-loving bilingual yoga instructor with a passion for helping children grow through movement, mindfulness and creative expression.Specializing in Power Yoga, Yin Yoga & Kids Yoga, she blends creativity, storytelling, and movement that keeps little yogis smiling and engaged.

She has been a certified yoga instructor for almost 10 years, completing trainings in Hatha Yoga, Kids Yoga, YinYoga, Power Yoga and Sound Healing, allowing her to create a safe and joyful space for children to explore both movement and stillness. She believes yoga gives kids wonderful tools for focus, self-expression, and self-regulation—all while having fun!

Ms. MJ

MJ teaches yoga at College Park United Methodist CDC.

MJ is originally from York, Pennsylvania, She’s been living and loving her life here in Orlando, Florida — right alongside the magic of the Mouse.

She is a 200-hour RYT yoga instructor currently working toward her 300-hour certification to become 500-hour certified. She is also a certified Kids Yoga teacher with a focus on mindfulness and helping children navigate stress and anxiety.

Her journey with kids yoga began at home with her son, Durham. During the height of COVID, as he faced the challenges of kindergarten and anxiety, she leaned into her love of yoga to support him. That experience sparked her passion for combining yoga, breath work, and mindfulness as tools to empower children — giving them ways to calm their minds, regulate their emotions, and grow with confidence.

Now, she feels so grateful to guide kids and families on this path, creating spaces where little ones can breathe, move, and shine from the inside out.

Yoga, for MJ, is more than movement — it’s a way of life, a connection to something bigger. Her spirit animal, the elephant, reminds her daily of strength, wisdom, and compassion, qualities she brings into every class she teaches. She believes yoga offers a little bit of magic to everyone who practices — a magic that grounds us, heals us, and helps us grow.

Namaste.

Shanti, Shanti, Shanti — meaning peace in body, peace in mind, and peace in spirit.

Sat Nam — meaning “truth is my identity,” a reminder to live authentically and in alignment with who we truly are.
